i have an 01 integra, and dropped a valve the other day, actually broke the top of the valve off. i would like to know what head to replace it with for more performance. am going to put another intake on it, but now that ive broke a valve, seems that now is the time. ive heard a b16 wil work and it will be easy but it is a v tech and the current motor is not. i am a gearhead on domestic's but this import stuff is new counrty for me.

why not go to crower.com and get a performance valvetrain then and replace your current damaged one??? doing vtech conversions arent too terribly difficult u can get the lines dowels and gasket from tuners choice.com then buy your b16 head or any vtech head ..either way its up to you

It all depends on what you want to do. If you want more power you can go with the ls/vtec swap and mate a pr3 head onto it (both b16a and B18c5 - type R are pr3) but you also must plug up a few unused oil lines holes in the bottom end as well as create a new oil feed line for the vtec head. Also there is the problem that this conversion is not street legal so don't expect to pass smog. There is a lot of info about this combination both on Honda Tuning and all over the internet
