I would choose the 2006-2007 Civic SI for the 200hp engine. Add all the stuff you would add to a 92-00 civic and you'll really be laughing.

You guy make me laugh!!!

There would not even be Honda Tuning if it wasn't for the EFs/EDs

Honda was ahead of it's time when they released the 88 Civic/CRX. Think about it. During 1987, it wasn't another car that could out perform the CRX Si (in that price range). The STD and HF models got gas mileage greater than most hybrids do today. Then look at the SiR/Vtec models that were released overseas. They had options for glassroofs, automatic climate controls, and many other neat things. Don't forget about the (at one time) almighty B16a! Everyone and their mothers wanted a b16 in their riced out EGs and EKs LOL. B16s might not be the #1 swap of today, but it did led the way for the larger displacement vtec motors of today! (I might add I know the b16 came in the DA first, but that setup was a waste of money, since the power to weight ratio was in the EF favor LOL)

So know your roots EFs>>>>>>>>>> all other civics!

(and I'll leave you with some pics of my REX!)

Sorry bigdare, but I have ot disagree.

Older doesn't translate to better.

I have to say that the Civic RR is one of the better Civics out there right now.

It's gorgeous, and comes with way more power from the factory than most other Civics.

For BEST civic I'd have to say the 2008 Hybrids take the cake. Civics were originally introduced as a user-friendly economical car that was not only reliable, but extremely fuel efficient. The Hybrid Civic exemplifies what Honda was trying to execute with the original CRX's and Civics by providing consumers with a car that gets 50 miles to the gallon. It may not be an STI killer, but it'll certainly help in keeping your wallet full when you're at the pump.

The only reason I prefer the 92-95(EG) civics was their weight. But in terms of looks I love the EKs and the EPs weren't anything special for me.

Agreed on EGs. Wouldn't mind one for a DD, although if I could I'd get the Mugen RR. That thing is sick!

Acura TSX Research
Acura TSX When looking for your next vehicle, think about the Acura TSX, a stylish car with nice features. The TSX gets 18 mpg in the city and 27 on the highway, and is available in the following bodystyle: Sedans. The Honda Pilot and the Honda Ridgeline are other vehicles that might interest you.
