My car used to be an auto- it is not that hard to make it a stick. Almost everything is a bolt in application. Besides if you are doing a swap you're gonna have to get a new tranny anyways. Why spend the time saling and trying to find a new car if you are going to throw away the motor and trans.  stick with what you have and finish it right.  When it comes to a motor you have to decide what you want it to do.  H22 is good for drag and b series is good for all around and drag. 14's are not that good.  If youre gonna dump money into a car dont settle for less that 12's.

i would say buy the full b18 swap gsr is nice if your into vtec.. me i like the ls motors or non vtec.... umm get ahold of a clutch setup from a salvage yard or somethin and def just mod the car you have.. cuz most times you trade in your car and they will try to shaft you into takin an older model like a 92 or some thin you got a 96 keep it and do your mods to it!!

stick to d series motors. makes the sting of waxin ppl that worse and cheeper also but yeah go to a stick tranny. its not hard and handels alot more abuse that a auto tranny can. stage 2 clutch and your set for singel cam set up.

The bad thing about building a D series engine.. is that it costs more to get more.. also the more  you get out of a engine, with modifications the harder the engine will be working.. plus I think that the D series engine is only really efficient in a EG the EK's are much more heavy and need the extra torque from say a 2.0L or a 1.8L
