I saw the Mugen Si at SEMA and I am wondering if it is worth the extra money. Basically I would be buying it for the body kit. I would but it and swap out the suspension, do my own engine mods and all that stuff. They said it will be just under 30 sticker price. Dealers will probably bend people over on them, so I am thinking 32 said and done out the door. I just don't know if I can spend that kind of money on a Civic.

What would you guys do?

I know a lot of people are asking themselves the same question. A lot of people will be willing to pay 30+ for the signifigance of the car. I mean it is the first real Mugen product for our market, so some people will buy it because its a special car. Some people have said they want to buy one and stick it in storage. I don't think I would go that far, I doubt we will ever see one on the block at Barrett-Jackson.

I think most of the Mugens will be sold to kids with parents who have the money and don't care what they are getting for it.

This thing is retarded expensive for what you are getting.  Even though that is the cost of all these Mugen parts plus the car, at the end of the day you still have a 15 second FWD car.  For $30 large you can land way better cars than a Civic.

umm ok.. I am pretty sure that if they are gunna build a mugen civic its not gunna be a 15 second sunfire.. or even a 19 second civic like yours.. And yes you can "land" a better car for 30 grand like a 93 skyline.. but that over ten years old... I think if you have gots the money this thing is sick.. I think that there is a civic type-R that comes out or came out in the u.k thats a k20 super or turbo charged I can't remeber but thst thing I think they said was getting in the low 14.
eat it you hoser.

I was thinking more along the lines of a WRX, Sky Redline Turbo, or EVO RS to name a few.  But I guess I am a hoser because I don't like $30,000 Civics.

And no, I do not own a Civic.
