ive read an article on honda swap of a guy who built an all motor ls. its a pretty kick *** build.
http://hondaswap.com/general-tech-articles/building-ls-all-motor-monster-31401/
i wouldnt do it personally, id rather just build ls/vtec or poormans type r. but that would be pretty cool if you can build a motor like that.

for the b18b i believe it has slightly better flow through the head and a lil more power and torque not a big bunch though! and as for the question about mechanics .. no one in my area likes to touch imports extensivly... so my bottom end was ordered straight from dart and my head work a buddy got it done for me by a shop in new jersey ..somethin like rude speed shop i believe??... most the assembling was done by myself ie installing the valvetrain and installing every nut and bolt to the motor and putting it in the car
