holy bring a post back from the dead. but yeah its alright to drive what ever you like because in the end those other haters are not pying for it. man i'm ten years your elder and just built my first civic(sohc turbo d16y8). around here we have the same kind of aggravating little punks with sentras, srt4s, and every other sort of riff-raff car that think a fart-cannon, super wing and 18's make you super fast.

So I understand that kids with mufflers are really lame. I just totaled my RX7 and want to get into Honda tuning, so I bought an Accord. I have been hesitant to purchase an exhaust system because I don't want to look like one of those kids. Can someone recommend a good exhaust that yields enough power to be worth the noise? I have a 1992 Accord LX sedan with a completely stock 2.2L engine.  

I love how self-concious people are when it comes to their cars. If you have a 92' accord LX, I suggest saving your money until you can afford another RX7. Did you have an FB, FC or FD?  

Well I see this thread is still living kinda its just not kids in the rice burners either. don't forget the kids whose parents by the a camaro or something comparible to that. I had a camaro pull up to me on the highway and it was owned by one of those high school kids he rev'd on my ef hatch with a b16 swap with high comp. pistons and chipped for my vtec to kick in at 5200rpms I only shifted into 4th the first time little low to get into vtec and kept up right along with him and then hit vtec and smoked him. then I slowed down to let him catch up and he tried it again, but this time I dropped it into 3rd and just took off. like a month later i see him driving around but i was in my eg and he wouldn't even bite cause he was affraid to get beat again. some can be taught but not many.  

you know i hate to be the one to sound all sentamental but you were all noobs too u know, all i'm sayin is rember were u came from thats all...but besides that i know what you guys are sayin..so i pulled up to this light and this kid who wieghts almost as much as his 94 civic hatch pulls up and revvs the **** out of his **** and you know he pulls away and i just laugh cause i happen to have the same car only a 93 dude really this kid was bigger than the damn car and i ****** hate that honda can sound. But i wanted to say i'm a noob to the honda way and if any one has tips or really anything at all it would be really helpful for the record i just bought a 88 crx with a B18A Vtec and a 93 civic hatch and the motor is *** and i really would like some help on what i should do with this carcause i'm not to sure..but thanks for any help  

Ok, while I TOTALLY FEEL what you are saying, consider this:

Age being irrelevent, whenever you put a new mod into your car, what do you want to do?? Test it out of course. SO you see that type r or GSX or Eclipse Spider or whatever, you pump a little extra gas to get your adrenaline going and hopefully you pull up alongside them for a fair race, (or you can fly past them for no reason and pretend that they were psychic and knew you were trying to race and you sooo totally burned them). The last thing on your mind now is "does this cat want to race?"

But I do hate all these damn spoiled rotten high schoolers with these newer "sport sedans" if you will. I just took my near stock '00 Si up against some kid in an '07 G35...he shoulda burned me, right?
