Yeah im a newbie here and getting a 90 ex-r accord this summer.. im planning to do a motor swap and eventually throw in a turbo ..I know this sounds dumb but is it possible to swap a f22 with an auto tranny for a h22 with a standard??? thanks

absolutly possible to put an h22 in there as for converting from auto to standard.. you will need to find a cluctch peddal setup and of course you will need the h22 manuel ecu and engine harness.. my only suggestion here is if you really want to do a turbo i would suggest the h23 it is more boost friendly..its non vtech but the compression ratio is lower wich benefit turbo setups.. good luck what ever you do

you can still use the h22vtec with turbo i was only stating for your sake that the h23 is better for turbo beig it has a tad lower compression ratio than the h22 just remember that when you boost do not exceed more than .. id only go 6psi to be safe but people have pushed 8 and 9 psi
