when you build the b20vtec is that what your puttin in your ef??? or you puttin that in another car?? reason i ask is if you plan to put that in your ef to replace the gsr... what you could do is get some oil squirters to put in the b20 block its not absolutly necessary but its kinda a lil safety precaution... you could also give some thought into puttin the gsr oil pan baffle and crank girdle on the b20 bottom end for added safety the girdle will most likely need line bored to the b20 so a machine shop will be needed for that.. but its only if you wanna put some serious power down.. of course as i told sav you will definatly want arp connecting rod bolts the non vtec was built for a lower rev than vtec motors so you will want to strengthen the rotating assembly in any way your budget allows.... other than that.. just remember when its all said and done.. yes it will technically be the same as boring your vtec out to a 2.0 ltr but since the bottom end was not originally meant for vtec my suggestion is not to go much past 7800 rpm or itll do damage after a while.. other than thjat if you hit a snag during your build gimme a yell ill help ya anyway i can .. i havent done the cr/vtec (b20) yet ive done the ls (B18) plenty though...
