whut motor is currently  in your lude?? if you have the h23 si version then most latmodel ludes... last few months of 93 -96 all have the same wire harness they will already have the connectors for vtec you just gotta plug em in.. but if you have a lude with an fseries you may have to add the vtec wiring.. but mount wise yes direct swap..

transmission will work but you should grab up an h22 trans for best results.. if the f series was vtec you may be able to do a direct plug and play swap.. if it wasnt vtec then yes you will hve to either wire the vtec or check the harness for unused plugs as they may have the vtec wires also..

the only thing you will need to do is swap the harness into an ODBI to ODBII harness conversion, and look on your head for a stamped code of p13 or p14. whichever code you have stamped on your head is the ecu that you will need to buy, otherwise your v-tec will not work properly, if at all.

You dont always have to get an OBDII adapter. there are OBDI H22A's out there.
