ok the jdm d15B is vtec.. for a honda on stock internals go no more then 7 psi, but if you want to build the sleeves and pistons and put in all arp bolts maybe some new valves and srings.. you should be good for around 15 maybe

haha man the jdm d15b is vtec, I have one. (its 130hp)
Also a good way to know you have the vtec is to just take off your valve cover and look at your lobes. im sure you know what a vtec valve train looks like. currently im lookin for a hatchback i wanna do a swap but i dunno which one to do.

I have a D15B7 16 valve and there is no number after the B on the block and it has the oil line for V-Tech that does not make it JDM it is just a better stock D15 is it worthy of a turbo sure is, the compression isn`t far off but I would not do more than 10 psi and I wouldn`t even do that untill race time....

The rest of the dudes replying are idiots. There is a jdm d15non vtec, it came from japan, i know because i just put one in my wifes car, just swapped the d15b7 with blown head gasket out for the d15b engine only. It came with 2 carbs in japan. I know that from research, and the intake mani that came on the motor. what i cant figure out is if the d15b non vtec and d15b vtech have the same crank, cuz if they do, that means you can run d16 rods.
