i just put an aem intake in my 2002 civic ex, and shortly after my check engine light came on, i got my cars ecu checked and it said that the air temp. in the intake was higher than normal, i was told to get a new iat sensor, and the check engine light will go away, i've tried resetting my car, and even disconecting my battery, does anybody know what i can do to fix this problem

first time i've heard that one. obd2 sucks. by disconnecting the negative post of your battery for a few minutes should reset your ecu. invest in an obd2 scanner if you plan on driving and moding newer cars.

I would say to first check and make sure everything is plugged in or sitting correctly in the intake, but If you took it to a mechanic Im sure they would have noticed that. My next guess would be that you either damaged the sensor while installing the intake, they are fragile, or you cringed a wire.
Good luck
