California AB 616 smog check legislation

Assemblyman Dave Jones has introduced legislation AB 616 which requires annual Smog check inspections for vehicles 15-years old and older.
uGh. As if getting it done every two years isn't enough and smog checks aren't cheap either, they're about $40-$60 a pop. I hope I don't have to worry about this when my car turns 15 years old in a few years. AHH!
