getting a FWD car to 11 seconds it really tough. you will have to have like 400 hp to get that. 13 is respectable. go with either a b16 or b18C1. you can build those to handle some serious boost. but unless you have got like 30000 buck I don't thiknk you will be seeing 11 seconds

eh huh see i figured it was a typo thas why i said d16y8 i knew they came in the ex models.. any way.lol.. it has been done plenty of times before however it is costly to get a sohc motor really fast.. running an 11 sec 1/4 via turbo hmm wouldnt take too much i believe if you go with a b18c or h22. dont skimp get it sleeved good pistons rods some valvetrain figure in a good trustable turbo kit hks or greddy maybe. i cant stress the dont skimp on part thing enough though. you can build a motor that will send you down the track at those times but its up to you and a good tranny to keep consistant. however as sav said it wont be cheap.

to have an 11 second car your going to need a lot more than just horsepower and torque. it is going to cost a great deal of coin. 13 second cars are still respectable and hella streetable and can be done with the d-series that your car came with.

thats true, you will need some big slicks, with dounuts in the rear, a really solid strong clutch, and a gear box that can take a beating of a life time.
