I have a 1998 Honda Accord with the SOHC F23A1 engine in it, and I dont know what I should do to accieve the power that I want. I would like to be running somewhere around 200-250 hp. My problem is that I am new to tuning. I don't know if it would be better to upgrade some parts on the engine that I have now and maybe add a turbo or a super charger or if it would be more realistic to just go for an engine swap. Any help would be great. Thanks Everyone

the f23a1 is a solid base they work well boosted and be built well over 300hp. building the f23 to get to 200 would cost you well over $3000. You would be better off swaping in the h22a. good luck peace

you can squeeze 200 hp out of the f23 itll take pistons cams chipped ecu good quality intake and exhaust.. or yea you can get yourself an h22a swap and have it right off the go. but even thatll cost ya. but if your ultimate goal is 300 id say go h22 itll be alot easier and a lil cheaper in the long run..
