Just feeling this out for now.
I have a 1996 civic DX with a motor swap. I have a b16 vtech motor in this. AEM v2 cold air intake with DC heads. Full catback dual exhaust, bigmouth body kit, M3 style mirrors, hyper blinkers, altezza tails, angel head lights, short shifter, 17 in. masitaly wheels with lowprofile tires. The car is primered now, but will be painted in a couple of weeks. I think im looking at the si blue for this car. Anyway wanted to see how much it will sell for if i decided to sell it. Will email pics and list of mods.

Seriously, most of your modifications lower, than raise your car's value. The engine swap is great, but the body kit, M3-style mirrors, hyper blinkers and Altezza lights, etc are cheap, low quality mods. If you ever decide to sell it, you'd probably get more money changing your cosmetic mods back to stock.  

def important to list miles both on the chassis and estimated on the new swap... body condition as far as rust blems or dents... condition of interior rips tears etc...  

and spell things write so people take you seriously.. VTECH is a phone company
VTEC is variable valve timing and Electronic lift Control.
so unless your cars got a vtech phone setup dont call it that.
and I don't beleive you cause if you say you have a b16 vtech, you have either never lifter the hood or don't have the swap. take your pick. lol but then again you are a girl so the first one is a possibilty.

woa easy tiger..lol.. i know i get frustrated with people doin that stuff to or when they claim to have serious mods on their motor you ask them and they like ohh umm my friends uncle did it im not sure whut all is done to it but it has 300 hp or some crazy crap.lol. but eh just take it easy on her dude she may be new to it or just a spelling mistake. it was amusing to hear you go off again though..lol.. how many people have you told about that now?? ive read that in a few posts where people spell it wrong.

Ok, so to the guy who in his message, told me to spell things "write"....wont say anymore. I spelled it VTECH because i do not know a lot about Hondas, to be quite honest i dont like them, I have had volkswagens since i was 15 and i love them. The honda is a toy to mess around with just to play with something new. Yes, the body mods are quite gay, we were planning to take it back to stock. I mean serioulsy, someone says Honda you think rice so this car just fits that stereo type i guess. The B16 vtec, is what it says on the motor, from what i here the guy that did this motor swap picked a good motor. I am a girl, i am 20, i like volkswagens, i know a lot about them....not hondas but just because i am a girl doesnt mean i dont know what i am talking about. So for the guy who told me that the car has low quality mods, i agree, which is why it is going stock. Hondas are nice cars dont get me wrong but kids have made them low quality looking. So when the car is stock and everything is ready to go and the car is ready to be sold, see whos a "girl" then. Ya know....just because your jealous of a little girls motor swap...doesnt mean you have to CALL her a girl. Thanks for the tips though!!!!!!!!  

Good luck with your VW, civicdx. Most people aren't stupid enough to assume that just because someone's a girl, she automatically doesn't know anything about cars. I happen to know quite a bit of girls that know their stuff. To say that a girl doesn't know anything about cars is like saying all Hondas are rice--both are ignorant statements. At the same time, people are pretty much fed up with the whole VTEC/VTECH switch up.

You might not like Hondas, but as long as you call yourself a car enthusiast, you should get the terminology right. Good luck in the VW scene (but just a warning, I have scene a few riced out Jettas out there, I just hope you won't be one of them, lol)
