Just finished the swap of H22a for F22a6 in my 93 Wagon. No cel's but mixture is way too rich and vehicle fails smog. I'm using the jdm ecu and a jdm auto trans with the correct tcu.
The vehicle passed with no problem last year with the existing cat converter.
I've got a cai and ebay headers/downpipe but all else OEM. All vac hoses hooked up properly.
Heard scuttlebutt about the jdm ecu not recognizing EGR and something else that would allow things to get out of control. I have cleared a knock sensor cel in the past.
Any ideas appreciated.

yea id place the blame on the jdm ecu in japan they run a higher grade fuel than we do so it is possible it is feeding too much fuel to the injectors...you could try a fuel pressure reg and see if you can tone it down that way

Not too sure with NV smog regulations, but pretty sure you guys measure all if not some of the following emissions: CO, CO2, HC, O2 and NOx. Can you post up your numbers? It might help diagnose the problem.

Don't have the sheet in front of me now but I do remember that CO was around 6% with 1.20% allowable.
I'll try a new O2 sensor I just bought. I also might put the smaller injectors from the F22 in and see what that does. Also not sure that my IAC is working right.
