new to the site, and just wondering who's doing any mods to their HX? i just inherited my wife's 99 HX coupe, and want to make it faster. the d15z motor is rated for 115 HP, and i may look into putting on a small turbo. i was wondering how many HP will the stock CVT tranny will stand up to reliably without breaking parts? if this turns out to be a lousy idea, i may look into buying a wrecked integra for a motor/trans swap. help me out please!!

i would just say straight out get a b18 swap and roll from there you will be much happier. in my own opinion that is.

I also have the d15z in my 92 civic hatchback. I would not suggest doing anything to the motor but replacing it with something else. I plan on doing a rear wheel drive conversion with a S2000 drivetrain.
