Whats up okay i have a 1993 honda civic ex, it currently has the d16z6 motor and i am sure i want to go with the B18B1 motor, i am setting up my car for autocross, so i want the motor i am going to put in to have the most stock torque to start with, after i get the engine swap kit and everything i want to do i want to conver it to a vtec. What do you guys think.

so essentially you plan is to build a ls vtec for a 93 civic to run autocross.. sound ok to me and torque is a fun thing i love building my motors to have very high torque ratio's.. and the vtec head swap will provide the extra edge you may find handy in your competitions.
