i want to replace the stock springs with some tein s-tech lowering spring. would it cause any damage to any other suspension component such as the cambers due to the drop?.

depends on how much a drop you do..its going to affect your suspension even if you get oversized rims change the way your tires contact the ground..

Your shocks will blow eventually. Save yourself the hassle and headaches and get good aftermarket shocks, Tokico and Koni are the cheaper, but highly recommended brands. If you're worried about tire where, get an alignment afterwards. Remember TOE eats tires much, much more than Camber does.
