Hey guys . im currently deployed and i bought a integra off of my brother in law with a d16 vtec engine in it.I was wondering what would be the max HP i can get out of it and what would i have to do. I plan on putting a turbo in there with a intercooler and all. I just still want to be able to keep it as a daily driver with some balls you know. I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks

here you go but a kit from here. that engine is the same as the 92-95 civic ex i think with those rods tho you cant push more then 220 safetly but if you run 5-7 lbs it should be fine,

is it a d16zc?!!!! it's a hell of a motor. put it in a really nice 88 DX hach or a CRX. it was the first DOHC 16 non-vtec little brother to the b16a

D16s can produce a good amount of power with forced induction. On a stock motor, like justinr3459 said, 5-7 psi of boost should be safe. The block is an open-deck block so if you plan on a turbo rebuild, you definately need to sleeve the block. Stock crank should be ok. Stronger rods (try Eagle rods - strong and affordable), pistons, good bearings, etc. is necessary for power making and longevity. Valvetrain rebuild is a must to make power. Not a lot of porting will be necessary but a polish will be useful. It should be a good daily driver with 10-13lbs of boost. The most HP I've ever heard on a D16 was 350-450+ hp, but that wouldn't be good runnin' high boost all the time if you want longevity in motor life.
