my ECU is a 96 (OBD2), my motor is a 95 (OBD1) and yes my car is OBD2 also. my car is also auto, but the thing im more concerned about is, will the ECU be compatible with the motor if i convert it from OBD1 (motor) to OBD2 with the conversion harness?? yes im new to this wiring thing and not that good at it yet. apparently they sent me the wrong ECU when i ordered the motor/tranny so i guess im stuck with it now, dont have much money left to look for a OBD1 ECU. but thats my question for now, will work with the conversion harness?? oh yea and the motor didnt come with the wiring harnesses, so i'ma have to go dig it up in the junkyard but if i do, what year will it have to be?? i'm also lost on that..thanks for the help..its much appreciated.
