i just recently bought a 89 cr-x si. before that i had an 88 camaro RS and still have an '80 Z28. i sold the RS for a honda to save on gas but am pretty impressed with it's speed and handling. i know a thing or two about camaros but nothing about any honda. i want my cr-x to go fast so i can beat my friends muscle cars ( we all have camaros and firebirds)but have no clue where to begin beside an exhaust system but even then i dont know which brand since apparently flowmasters is for muscle cars. somebody please help.

greddy is excelent exhaust. id suggest a motor swap if you wanna make it easier to run with the camaro's n such.. or a serious engine and turbo build on your existing motor... but i realy think you would be happier with a h22 motor swap from a prelude in there plus the fact its 190hp out the box some mild bolt ons to get to roughly 210 its a light car you wont need gobs of power to do the job of runnin with those trans ams.. i have a fully built b18 all motor with a 50 shot nos and out run alot upgraded mustangs and stick on a some vette's.

thx. i'll look more into a motor swap now. i probably will anyways since it has 200,000 miles on it already. but i need money for that so i'm gonna race my friend in his 91 camaro for pinks. ( i just want it to sell it so i can fix up my honda) the thing is that he has an rs and i didn't know that rs' for that year got 235 hp. i dont know if i should go through with it.
