Hello everyone, I'm new to the online forum here for Honda tuning magazine, but have been getting Honda tuning magazine for a number of years.  Now I'm not sure if this is the right forum to be posting this, but I'd appreciate any help you guys/girls have.  I am looking for an article that was originally printed in the April/May 2002 issue of Honda tuning.  I had the magazine but lost it.  I thought it might be online.  It's the article introducing the K-series engine.  It basically discusses the a2, a3, and 2.4l k engines and some of the statistics on it.  The only thing I've been able to find is what's considered the "pt.2" of that article...which talks about how the engine will be for tuners.  I believe it's called "All in the Family" or something like that.  Does anyone know where to find this full article?  I've been searching all over the place, but still have had no luck.  Thanks.

Bernie

Thanks for your information on this.  I don't know how much modifying I'll be doing.  I'm almost 30 and just got married.  Because of financial priorities with debt, savings, etc., any mods I want to do will require hours of arguing with the wife...so if the mods are worth the money, then I'll get prepared to argue.  lol.  That said, I was just thinking about some minor mods:  Intake, Short Shifter, Thicker Rear Sway, and Hondata Reflash (going to try pull off getting this as a gift for my 30th B-day.  Sad huh?  lol).  What do you think?  I figured these would at least allow some more enjoyment for my daily commute.  I would like to do suspension, but when all is said and done with springs, shocks, camber kits, etc. it's going to be up there in cost.  The header is out, because I have crappy emissions here in PA, and don't feel like switching it out every year.  Shorty header won't provide much of anything.  CAI worries me too much with the possibility of hydrolock...besides, I'd rather have better throttle response and don't care about extracting high end power.  Exhaust is cool, but not a priority for me at this point.  It'll just add louder sound...cause without the header, I'm not really going to see many gains.  So that's my story as related to modding.  Are the mods I mentioned worth it?  Thanks for any help you can give.  This is my second endeavor with the K-series.  1st was my base RSX.  Finally got my Type S after a couple years...I've always had B-series stuff, so I know more about that then the K.  Thanks again.

what year DC5 do you own? biggest question is, is the motor the K20a2 or the k20z1. For and intake if you are looking to be cost effective i would do a hondata airbox mod with a mugen/spoon filter. Then a shorty header of course go with something good not megan, also for an exhaust get a T1R midpipe its a little bit bigger the stock muffler flow should be good enough to support it. Hondata reflash will help you out a little i would suggest just saving it up for kpro and have someone tune it to your mods because the reflash is ment for a cai either or i hope this helps
