i have a h22 head and a h23 block and was wondering how hard this is to do and what i should look for before i start and what kind of power i should expect.  Also i would like to know if this effectsa the smog ability of the car.  please let me know what your opinions are.  thanks

as far as smog i dont think it changes anything... it is much like any swap you need the righ ecu, some si preludes like mine already come with the vtec plugs in the harness and just need to be luugged in but many do not and you need to run wires for vtec. many of the parts needed are similar to lsvtec you need vtec dizzy, oilpump, waterpump lower crank gear, oil squirters inside the block or it will starve for oil or not engage vtec, and some other snall things if i find my parts list i could tell you every last little thing needed. its not too difficult and it is a reliable motor if done right.. dont listen to knuckle heads sayin to stay away from it it is a nice build... not alot of power gain i think it is +10 but torque is like +20. I built one last year my buddy bought it and dropped it in his teg and it is runnin strong still he has driven across the country and back 2times with it and never had problems.
