I own a 92 accord ex and the motor has almost 200,000 miles on it. I am looking to put a new motor and tranny in the car. I want one that will be a possible upgrade in power and performance but will not require any modifications to the engine bay and that will not be exceedingly painful to install. For the most part I would like a motor that will drop in and function with all of the ex's accessories. is there such an upgrade for this car? Possibly one of the newer v-tecs?

Well thats kind of hard to do. Complicated, rather. A H22 would be a great upgrade for HP but you need its ECU to run it, custom motor mounts to sit put the motor in place(get it from HASport - they make the motor mounts for the swap) and wiring harness, for proper motor and accessory funtion, custom driveshaft (I believe) if the prelude ones dont fit. Everything should come with the order depending on which company you buy from. My brother is doing the same swap with his 90 Accord.
