Looking to engine swap my 1991 CRX this summer, I am currently looking into the B16a. I want a street racing build. Was wondering if there is any other suggestions besides the B16a. I am looking for the best performance for the best price. Down the road I want to go turbo and was also wondering how the B16a holds up with that. Open to suggestion very much appreciate any info I can get on this topic. Thanks

look dude if honda wanted to turbo the b16a they would have. Instead of making it a high horse power na motor, with high compression and no torque. If you want a turbo honda build buy a non vtec b18a, its low compression equal torue and is boost friendly. plus it only cost around $450

i agree with streetstalker, and i've seen those setups offer very prominent street/strip combinations. however don't give up on the b16a if that's what you want, because we have all seen NA b series setups outrun and outlast forced induction given the right circumstances
