I have a 95 LS that I am going to start work on. I want to put a GSR block on it and keep my LS head on. Can I add a VTECH to my stock ls head. Please advise.

1) VTEC = Variable Valve TIming and Electronic Lift Control
VTECH = brand of cordless phone

2) VTEC is part of the entire design of the cylinder head. There is no way to add VTEC to an LS cylinder head.

3) You could add an LS head to a GSR block, but why????????

4) The most common thing to do is keep your LS block and add a DOHC VTEC head to it, making it an LS/VTEC "frankenstein" motor. This can be done on the cheap, but can have disastrous effects. The proper way to do LS/VTEC requires disassembly of the motor internals.
