Well first off, for the 2002-2004 RSX Type-S the engine code is K20A2, 2005-2006 RSX Type-S is K20Z1, and the 2006+ Civic Si is K20Z3. There are a few minor differences in the cams, pistons, oil pump, intake manifold, throttle body size, exhaust design, and others. Other than that, they're pretty much all the same.

thanks, i appreciate the help, but what is it about the "upgraded" intake, header, ect that makes it "better"? Does the intake manifold have an active intake, are the runners longer? What is it about the pistons that make it different and better than the z1 engine and a2 engine? Sorry i'm asking for such specifics.
