I have a 2000 civic si. i am woundering what the best engine swap for my car would be. and rather not real exensive. i have looked at the f20b the b20 k20 h22 and i am woundering what the best engince swap would be and for little money by little i ean like 1-2 thousand bucks. also woundering if i would need to swap out transmission or anything else. thanks  

you could do a b20 swap on that budget you will need a b18 trans if you have a 5 spd car if you drive auto you could use the b20 trans...  you can go to hasport.com and they have everything for you or your garage to do it parts list diagrm instructions. you wont get the k or h series done in that budget onless you do it yourself even then parts needed may run you over your budget.. even your b20 you need engine trans ecu axles and wiring and you will need to buy a b18b intake manifold the b20 intake manifold is taller and will be really tight under your hood if it even fits.  what is wrong with your si???
