i removed my 1997 integra d16 zc automatic transmission and replaced it with an s 20 manual transmission. ever since that was done i notice a grinding sound in especially lower gears when under compression.when i push the clutch peddle in the noise stops but if i dont the car moves forward in a jerking motion. i already changed the flywheel clutch pressure plate and release bearings but it behaves the same way. my friend did the same conversion to his integra and has the same problem. what do u think is causing the problem? please help!
