I currently have an 88 CRX Si that I'm trying to make turbo, but I ran into a problem. It still has A/C and I don't want to get rid of it. The cast iron manifold that I purchased for it, once I installed it and the turbo, it only sits about 2" from the condensor fan, and I don't believe that is the proper fit. I have seen shorter manifolds so that the turbo sits closer to the engine, but I cant seem to find one. I heard that the drag manifolds will make the turbo sit closer to the engine and keep the A/C. Is this true because I dont want to make the same mistake again? If anyone needs a new D16 SOHC manifold T3/T4 painted red, its up for sale. I paid $125 with shipping.
