i just bought a 1990 hatch and wanted to no everything i needed to swap a b18 5speed after i take out my d15 4 speed.im going to upgrade top and bottom end then put a turbo on it as well as keeping it a sleeper

motor mount,half shaft,ecu,engnie,trans,than you need to make the car a 4 inj like a si or hf wire harness.

as said by boostedsohc you need to convert your dpfi into mpfi so you can do this swap. hasport.com will be your friend info and parts you need. it will be a fun ride i had a B18 ls nitrous crx for a few years it was fun.

it will run 14.5 maybe and it will be ok but slow that it.

thats not too bad though for just a swap no mods.. my crx i was close enough to that i ran 14.3 that was with a gsr trans and cai and me being able to drive.. after serious work i dove it into high 10 car.

it is the same but you will need v-tech ecu and a jumper obo 0 to obo 1 to do it right.

b16 is 160hp and a b18 is 130hp it is the same to me do what to go fast or not. cheaper is b18 and you can get b18 all day.

in an 87 hatch its a k24 but your talking some serious mods this isnt a cheap swap so that being said for me being a crx owner so im kinda tight on cash i would just to a b18 type R
