i've got a 95 civic ex with the d16(vtec) and was wondering which would be better to swap in, the b16 or b18. i plan on boosting it. some friends told me the b16 would hold up to 14 lbs w/o re-sleeving it, but i plan on going higher. just wanted to know which one would be worth the money.

b16 is better but either one is good.im thinkin about the gsr my self just because its less damage to the pocket.

I have the same car and i'm considering the b18 or an ls-vtec. The b18 has more hp then the b16.

I will tell you I have driven both motors, and its all your preference. I have a B16a obd-0 right now and I love the power it puts out. It has high comp pistons, and its chipped. And the amount of power it puts out is awesome. Its really up to you.
