Getting a k20a2 and ecu but how hard is it 2 run a new wiring harness through a 96 cx???  I know just part of it but is there something im overlooking???  is there a better motor??? would a vtec do alright instead???  motor knowledge needed....

 um well no the new harness isn't any harder to put in, as it goes in the same way ur stock one is ran. know the K20A2 is one of hondas heavy hiters next to the jdm H22A/type-s and the jdm K20A/type-r. the K20A2 engine comes from a USDM Acura RSX Type S. the jdm version has 20 more hp, LSD transmission, higher compression, and more aggressive camshafts. and all these motors are vtec. to see the info and prices of these motors go to got-jdm.com. u will also need mounts to do these swaps.

Well guess u deffinately got some know on these motor's, thank's alot...  I've been in alotta races w/ the stock dy7...  really was a strong motor...     At First...  but nice and busy so really lookin 2 do a one up on the car and take it 2 some track's...  deffinately wanna go jdm on the k20a2, for my understanding is they dont have an immobilizer built in???  is this a fact???   Eitherway thanks a Million....

i have no clue wut a immobilizer is. either way jdm is the way to go...

from what I was reading??? the us pcm 4 the k20a2 is made where they can shut you down...  atleast thats what I've been reading...  was'nt sure myself..

O yea, yea one of my buddys was tryin to tell me somthin about that. im not realy read up on the K20A2 "pcm4" ecu...sry not much of a programer...

ya thank's for your help anyway, I dont know very much about swapping motor's, but now that I know 2 put the H22a...  my budy has been tryin 2 sell me his accord that he just put almost 2,000 in for about 500 buck's.. eitherway really would rather have the k20a2 but damn... kinda expensive....

lol yea they r... i love h22a's though i almost put one in my ek. there wicked torquey, the base models at 161torque. my boy put one in his del sol f'in thing was a beast...
