Hey guys I was wondering is it possible to put a b18c gsr engine in a 95 honda civic cx hatchback. And also what is the difference between a JDM ecu(p72) and a 0bd2 ecu(p72)?

i believe you will need a harness if the gsr engine is obd2...unless you wanna spend wasteless hours wiring the harness by hand...don't do it man...lol

Kinda off topic, I have the 95 GSR Engine and Tranny in my 89 CRX. But, I'm having problems replacing the CV joints. I'm currently playing with the 95 GSR cv joints I baught from Advanced Auto, They would fit, almost perfect but the I can't spin the tire after they are in. I might have come across a solution to my issue. But will find out tomorrow. I have a feeling that it still wont work. If anyone knows the correct CV Joints to use for this swap the information would be really appreciated.

Thanks,
Leonos

dependin on wat model the gsr motor is. 90-93 gsr will work with your stock civic harness.

I HEARD FROM "HMOTORSONLINE.COM" THAT 95 GSR IS THE WAY TO GO IF U WANT A PLUG AND PLAY. 96-97 IS A OBD2 THATS WHEN U HAVE TO BUY A WIRING HARNESS TO SUITE YOUR NEEDS. I WILL BE BUYING A MOTOR FROM THEM IN ABOUT A WEEK AND I ASKED THE SAME QUESTION FOR MY 94 CIVIC. HOPE THIS HELPS
