i got a civic vtec automatic and i was driving to home a week ago and just the transmission stop working someone know something about a problem like that with this automatic transmissions?  

An occasional problem on this vehicle is failure of the second gear clutch in the Automatic Transmission. This will cause the Automatic Transmission to slip, and the Check Engine Light to illuminate. If you had any of these problems before the transmission stopped working you might need a new one.
