I know this car has very little to any performance mods available. I want to build my car into something different than everyone elses. I dont see many 1st gen integras where i live and that is one of the reasons i like it so much. It also handles like a dream. I got it for free and honestly it has been one of the best cars i have ever owned. Now i live in california and i know there are strict smog rules and regulations regarding engine swaps and performance mods what motors can actually be put in my car legally... Also i wanted to get some tips to get the most out of my 1.6 dohc so its not such an easy target for the mean time. I read a cold air or ram air intake is about a 3-5 hp gain and exhaust is just about the same. I am also thinkin bout port matchin the head to the intake and exhaust as well is this possible or is there not enough of a hp gain to make all the work worth it. Right now the motor is stock as the rest of the car for the most part i have been mainly focus on the interior so far but i hate gettin smoked maybe i pick the wrong cars to go up against but i have beat a few cars that i didn't expect to. Any help would be greatly appreciated
