Hey guys I've got an '09 SI and I just drove it home now I was told that there WAS a rev limiter at 8200RPM. That's not true because i just took it to 9000RPM, and it didn't die off like the dyno charts showd it pulled all the way to 9,000. I only installed a K&N Typhoon kit on it there are no modification and I am running 94octane gas from sunoco. Now to my knowlage that shouldn't change my rev limiter or will it...
Has anyone taken their civic to 9,000 before? Or is there even a rev limiter at 8,200???

im not sure about 9000 but i read that the gas cutoff is at 8200 i believe. so it was probably bouncing to 9000.  idk, thats my two cents.
