94 civic gearing question HELP!?!

i have a 94 4 door civic with an engine and tranny out of a 94 integra ls (b18). i drive this car everyday and its gear bound, at 65 mph its turning 3k rpms, i want to lower the rpms at cruising speeds for hopefully some better gas milage. i was told a del sol tranny would do this, is this correct or what tranny do i need? thanks chris
