I had a zc installed in my Del Sol, I kept it automatic. The old throttle body to transmission cable was used and I think it is why my tranny will not downshift. Does anyone know if the cable is too long that it would cause this problem? If so does anyone know what size cable I should get?

I'm not sure. I know a civic cable won't work. You may have to try and find one from another Sol. Or modify the one you have.
