1986 honda civic crx si

Hello my fellow honda fans! My sister has recently picked up an 86 rex for $200. its definitely a fixxer upper, but we are approaching it enthusiastically as she has caught my honda fever! well in my first few days of research i have found that anything less than an 88 is extremely difficult to locate parts for. This car was actually repo'd so the steering column is destroyed and the interior is trashed. not to mention that the plastic fenders are dried out and one is missing. Does anyone know of some good websites or online distributers. I used to use a website that was like an ebay for junkyaeds, but i cannot remember/find it. Also, we are just making it road worthy now, but any recommendations on an engine swap? I know a B18 will fit in an 88, but how about a 86? Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!  

www.redpepperracing.com is the forum you want to check out. They are strictly about the 1st gen crx and 3rd gen civics. Fenders and headerpanels can be found on ebay and they fit fairly nicely. Honda still has some NOS (new old stock) parts for your sister's car, but not many. Junkyards, ebay and redpepperracing.com are your best bets for parts. A B18 will fit, I've seen it. First thing I would tackle is rust (if any). No sense swapping a motor into a rust bucket.
