So im building my h22a block up so i can put in a turbo and a vtec controller. i know i need to resleave it cause i want some where around 15-20 lbs of boost.  Im going with skunk 2 for my intake man, cams, and crank, but anyone have any suggestions for what kind of pistons are best for turbo?? I figured with the vtec controller i could set the vtec to kick in on the low end and have the turbo for high end!!  its gonna be quite a project

Vtec controllers are gay!! If you wanna make power throw away that pos and get your car tuned. Having your vtec set lower isnt gonna do anything for you but make you lose power. Vtec is based off of oil pressure so the higher the RPMs are the better your vtec is gonna work. If your gonna turbo and you want an AFC or something thats ok for temp use but get your car tuned if you dont want it to blow up

ok first of all my idea about the vtec kicking in in the low end was just an idea. second if you think the hondata vtec controlling system is gay then i guess it takes one to know one. what the fuuck do u think a hondata ecu is for? Tuning!!
U think im gonna dump thousands in parts into my car and just hope for the best?
when used properly the hondata vtec controller is effective.

^^ Lol right, I must not know what im talkin about! Go ahead and set your vtec as low as you can and have fun trying to get a good safe tune with your AFC. Sure you can hook up a wideband and make your AFR's alright but thats about all you can do! Guess cause all this time I've been in the honda game hasnt tought me a damn thing. Well have fun and good luck with your build lol. Oh an by the way you didnt say ANYTHING about using Hondata on your first post. Hondata is a good engine management for tuning, so you dont have to tell me.
