My 95 Civic is ready for a new engine or a rebuild. I thought, if it will fit, I'll put a B18C in it. Will this work or do I just need to rebuild?

A B18C will fit in your Civic just fine. I just built one and swapped into my 95 del Sol. It's a pretty easy swap, too.

Like it was meant to be there. Del sol's and civics 92-95 have the same engine bay of 94-2001 Integras when taking about the mounts. I think your civic even has more engine bay space than my integra. It's just a bolt-on process.

You may need the B series shift linkage.

There is no need for another ecu, the civic's vtech p28 ecu will work just find and better because it won't require the knock sensor to be used for vtech engagement. That's the only thing your civic's harnness won't provide because you won't need it and this is the knock sensor cables and plug.

Any other vtech Ecu will require this sensor reading to engage vtech and you will have to get a plug and wires for it from the engine to the ecu cause as I said your engine harnnes does not provide for it. Just make your p28 programable and you'll be fine. I'll be running and h22 with that same ecu on my integra soon. with this ecu stock you get vtech at 4,500 revs.

Umm p28's are garbage unless chipped for a tune. The stock p28 maps arent good for running a B series motor. Also the rev limiter is alot lower too. Its better to get the proper ECU for the motor your running. If your running a GSR motor in your car Id go with a P30(b16) ecu so you dont have the dual stage vtec
