What exactly do i need to lower my car?  Are coilovers just a part that groups all the components together?

You can lower your car a few different ways. The cheapest way is cutting/heating your stock springs. I dont recommend that but Ive seen it done. The next cheapest is buying a cheap set of coil overs off ebay or some lowering springs. Next up you can get into the better suspension and get a full 1 peice coil over with a gas strut.

it really depends on how low you are trying to go. You can get shock and spring sets then they also have the adjustable coilovers where you can set your ride hight to what you want.
