Well, im attempting the insane. i have swapped a 98 civic hx - cvt tranny d16y5 motor with a b16a2 manual from a 97 civec Del Sol V-Tech. Shes in, everytyhing is bolted on except the power steering and a bracket here and there, i even found the super rare p30 ecu to go with it. Heres the problem, i have no ground from the IAC valve. its throwing the code for "iac valve system fault" and its idling at like 200 rpm's. You up the throttle a little to idle at like 1100 rpm's and it bounces at you. bop bop bop bop bop. past that no bopping. trying to figure out whats up. could the computer i found be bad? any suggestions as to trying to fix this?
