Im new hear and any help would be awesomely appreciated.  I have a 91 Accord LX, obviously non-vtec and i bought a used but clean H22 intake manifold (the one with the tuned runners in it) and decided to replace my head gasket along with my timing components when i installed the new intake manifold. Before i installed it, i had very minimal oil consumption, about a quart a month, and after the build its almost at a quart every 3 or 4 days. My brother is a mechanic and did most of the work and the genius accidentally started the engine up without oil after all the work was done. (i figured ide do an oil change too) He said the engine was on for no more than 15 seconds when the oil light came on and he "remembered" and turned off the car. Not sure if thats the reason but any help or suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated. BTW engine has 113,000 miles and the old head bolts were re-used. Thanks again everyone.

That could very well have something to do with it (being ran with no oil).  Is the car smoking alot more now or is the oil just disappearing?   Never ever ever re-use head bolts.
