Need Help with SRS light that won't go off

I needed to do some fixing in the stering wheel comparment and as the manual suggested, I disconected the air bag cable to avoid an accidently deploy of the air bag. Now after conecting the cable the SRS light won't go off.
Any suggestions?

You connected it back and it wont go off now?
