2700 - 3000 rpm exhuast noise

My exahust sutep sounds great, except between 2700-3000rpms. it mkaes this aweful loud raspy noise. this noise started about a month after i had everything put on.
my setup is a JVT 4-2-1 header, flowmonster cat, ebay resonator and OBX evo style muffler, with 2.25in piping. the noise sounds like its coming from the muffler.
anybody know? i can post a video if you need?
