I have a 94 Integra LS. The car definately needs some maintenance but Ive come to realize that i have a issue with the car that might not be an easy fix. When i bought the car it seemed like a pretty good deal. No check engine light, semi low mileage, clean interior/exterior and a pretty good running motor and tranny. Long story short the check engine light came on during the ride home. The next day at work i threw the car up on the lift and saw that the previous owner had the O2 sensor hacked off and had welded something onto the exhaust piping. With this my car definately cant pass the state inspection and its already been due for the past 4 months. Ive been thinking is it better off that i have the O2 sensor situation fixed or would it just be cheaper for me to buy a shell thats in decent shape.

REPLACE THE PIPE IF THATS THE ONLY THING WHERE U AT ANY WAY THAT A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON A 94 MATTERS FOR INSPECTION

I could not agree more.I had a similar problem.just wire the o2 sensor and get the sensor.I'm located in ca and there are very strict on emissions.its an easy problem to fix.so no need for a shell just a waste of money imop.
