my bad if there is already a thread for this, im new to these forums. My money is slowly building up, and i've been looking at alot of 92-93 accords. this will be my first car, and i truly have no idea where to even start about tuning, is this car even worth tuning? im not trying to waste money and time if its not going to pay off. Could anyone share there knowledge, and answer these concerns ?
Is a 92-93 accord possibly older nothing past 97 worth purchasing? tuning? if it is worth tuning, where should i start? i was thinking an h22 swap, but is it worth it ? if tuning this car is just pointless, are there any cars i can pick up for 1-3 thousand dollars, that would be a good first car to start tuning?
thanks alot Brandon

Well in my opinion if yours going for cheap like 3,000 dollars go with a d16y8 96 to 2000 civic ex i had 3 grand and picked one up put a header cia and catback for 200 dollars and i can hang with my buddies 09 si. Alot of people are against ebay parts but for that price I took my chances sounds great not ricey and i beat a 2004 ser with those mods done. Dont belive it type in tang85atx on you tube and watch me pull on my buddy in my ex!

The 4th geneation accord is a respectable first project. The H22 is a good swap for that vehicle as well. If I was in your position I would look for a 94-95, 5th generation Accord. The cost wouldn't be much more and it is probably by far the favorite generation of the accord. There are many different forums dedicated to nothing but accords; I would suggest checking them out to see what can and can't be done to the accords. Good luck!
